I went on a farewell bike ride today with my friend / bike pal (she’s moving to Kansas next week!) and caught some great shots of a hazy Milwaukee skyline. I am accepting applications for new bike pals: ~15-30mi rides, must be tolerant of photography stops while in close proximity to beautiful things, posing in photos is optional but encouraged!
Took a trip to Bay View to ride with a friend to Grant Park & back. The ride was great! It was my first time this year on the south side and the views were just as incredible as I remember them being, particularly with the weird clouds / sunset. We got started a little later than planned so it was pretty dark at the end of the ride, but I think it was worth it for all the sunset views. We also saw some deer at Grant Park. Unfortunately I was shooting with my phone (Galaxy S4) and not my Canon T1i, but sometimes the best camera is the one you have with you. The phone did an admirable job though, especially in “Panorama” mode.
