As a frequent rain walker (while bus commuting) I’ve trashed many umbrellas and often feel that most umbrella designs are terrible. If these are half as durable as they look I want one!
Silver Blunt Umbrella 31% off now featured on Fab.Fab.comThis design is to the umbrella what the motorcar was to the carriage, that is, a revolutionary step forward. Fed up with the inherently flimsy design of standard umbrellas, designer Greig Brebner went back to the drawing board and created the Blunt Umbrella. Featuring an innovative radial tensioning system and telescoping ribs, this nearly indestructible umbrella can withstand wind speeds exceeding 75mph. And its blunt tips means no more eye-poking points.

Another cool one from fab.com (starting Sunday). At $160 non-fab price I have a feeling it’s going to be more than I’m willing to spend after the discount, but it’s a great series!

The only thing that could make this better is if it was Milwaukee, but either way it strikes a chord with this midwesterner!
